Catalinas: Shoppers are rewarded for purchasing promotional products via ‘catalinas’ also called ‘check-out coupons’. Catalina Category Marketing (CCM) offers these incentives which are good on your next shopping trip to that same retailer. Catalinas generally expire within 2 weeks.
Freezer Extras: Attached to the freezer and refrigerator doors of the frozen foods section, these dispensers contain coupons for products found within the freezer or refrigerator of which it is attached.
Peelies: Found attached directly to the product and can be redeemed at the time of purchase or on subsequent purchases made prior to the expiration date.
Rebate Forms: Located both in stores and on product websites, rebate forms allow you to try a new product and then mail in the rebate form for a refund of a portion or the entire purchase price. Must be submitted prior to expiration of rebate and postmarked by the date specified.
SmartSource Coupon Machines: Frequently referred to as “blinkies” as they use a blinking light to attract your attention while shopping grocery aisles, SmartSource Coupon Machines provide a manufacturer’s coupon that can be used any time before the expiration date.
SmartSource TakeOne Boxes: Prominent dispensers found on eye-level grocery store shelves, which contain coupons as well as recipes, rebates, sweepstakes and other promotional offers for nearby products.
Tearpads: Found on store shelves and displays, these are coupons available to tear from a pad.
